What is the safest way to use my Niya charger?
To ensure safe operation of your Niya charger, please follow these important guidelines:
- Use the Original Charger: Only use the charger that came with your Niya robot. Using third-party chargers may pose safety risks.
- Avoid Extension Cords: Do not connect the battery charger to an electric socket using an extension cord. Always plug it directly into a wall outlet.
- Do not use a Damaged Power Cord: If the power cord is damaged, the entire charger must be replaced with an original charger. Do not attempt to repair the cord yourself.
- Distance from Pool: Place the battery charger at least 3.5 m away from the pool edge while the charger is working to prevent electrical hazards.
- Dry Charging Area: Ensure the charging port and charger are dry before use.
- Height Above the Ground: To protect users from electric shock, the battery charger should be positioned at least 11 cm above the ground.
- Covered Area: Charge the robot, preferably indoors or in a covered, shaded area, so it's not exposed to rain or heat.
Following these precautions will help ensure the safe and effective use of your Niya battery charger.
