Here are a few examples of different pool situations and the cleaning settings that we recommend:

The weather is cloudy

Reduce the length of cleaning intervals and extend the pauses. Turn OFF energy-intensive functions ("Debris Washing" = OFF, "Speed" = Low, "Wheels Unblock" = Auto) and instead turn "Smart Solar Recharge" = ON, set the "Start Delay" to at least 1-2 hours. Keep the solar panel clean. Empty the filter tray more often.

The pool has a lot of leaves and debris

We recommend putting the Smart Search setting on Leaves Search. Set the Water Clarity to Murky. If there is a lot of larger debris that can get stuck in the skimmer paddlewheel, change the Wheels Unblock to Forced for stronger motor power. We recommend switching it back to Auto after the pool is clear of debris to preserve battery consumption.

The Pool is full of debris, mostly around the perimeter of the pool

Change the Water Edge Cleaning to either Intense or Perimeter (to clean only the edges). Set Distance to Edge: Very Close. Make sure the Debris Washing setting is activated.

I want my Dolphin Skimmi to work all the time

Turn the Auto Start setting ON to ensure that the skimmer will start working as soon as the filter tray is inserted. The Speed should be on Auto, and the Smart Solar Recharge should be activated.

I want my Dolphin Skimmi to work as energy-efficiently as possible

Activate the Smart Solar Recharge to ensure the skimmer is recharging with solar energy as much as possible. Set the Speed to Low. Set Water Edge Cleaning to Eco.
