It is only as time passes and the algae is left untreated that it becomes visible, usually more so in certain areas. Unfortunately, the robot cannot be fixed to overcome this issue. The best course of action is to use a reputable algicide.

If it turns wider than 90 degrees, shift the float on the cable entry-side towards the handle center.
