How do I replace the Niya robot battery?
Before replacing the battery, ensure the robot is completely dry and free from water droplets, sand, or debris.
We recommend leaving the robot standing idle for 2 days to ensure that all moisture from the device has completely evaporated.
Here are the battery replacement steps:
1
Turn the robot upside down in a dry area.
2
Remove the six screws holding the battery in place with a Phillips screwdriver.
3
Using a towel, clean the battery cavity of any water, dirt, or debris, ensuring it is completely dry and clean before proceeding to the next step.
4
Insert the new battery into the battery cavity.
5
Screw in the six screws with a Phillips screwdriver to hold the battery into place.
6
The battery should be disposed of properly at a certified location for recycling electronic waste. They should not be discarded as waste and placed in municipal recycling bins or garbage bins.
