My chlorinator is displaying an error message

Our machines have built-in error codes to help diagnose faults and issues, see below:


0-99 Value in this range indicates the output percentage of the system.

This is displayed during normal operation of the chlorinator

OF Cell output control knob is turned off, the Mineral Swim Pro Series chlorination has been manually switched off.

Output set at “0”

DG Automatic cleaning cycle beginning, the self-cleaning function is beginning.

Machine will process a short cleaning cycle then return to normal operation this is only displayed for a short period.

Pb (Flashing) There is insufficient water flow through the cell to produce.


Step 1: Clean filter baskets.

Step 2: Clean filter cartridge or backwash media filter.

Step 3: Clean cell of calcium residue.

Step 4: If you have a variable speed pool pump you may need to increase the speed.

OL (Flashing) – Overload of power drawn by the cell

Step 1: Reduce salt/mineral level (check for error)

Step 2: Clean Cell (check for error)
